RAS KABINDA HABRE SELASSIE formerly known as Desmond Trotter

Ras Kabinda, formerly known as Desmond Trotter, is a black activist and an elder of the Rastafarian society. Ras Kabinda was drawn in the Black Power struggle, and was convicted of killing a 'white man' during the carnival of February 1974. He attended the St. Mary's Academy, and was affiliated with the Movement for a New Dominica. He branched out and started newspapers and pamphlets such as TWAVAY, Manicou Movements, and Black Cry. 

Ras Kabinda has been on the trod of Rastafari for almost 40 years and currently resides in Shashamene, Ethiopia on the land grant.
