How Many Are There? The Statistics.

In 2001, the number of Rastafarians accounted for was 894, which included both male and female. Rastafarians of ages 35-39 were highest in number with a count of 135. When comparing the male to female ratio, out of the total 894 Rastafarians, 756 were male, and 137 were female (roughly a 6:1 ratio). Evidently, the Rastafarian society in Dominica has been dominated by males since the formation of the movement.
